Very excited to announce that NaturesGems has been awarded some funding and business mentoring support by the Princes Countryside Rural Start-Up Fund.

The Rural Start-Up Fund was established by Forest Holidays and The Princes Countryside Fund to offer financial and mentoring support to help rural entrepreneurs in developing their businesses.

I’m really pleased to have been selected to receive this funding to help progress my ideas for developing the tours and linking with other local businesses and the community where I work.

I’ll be using the funding to buy some specialist equipment to enhance the experience clients have on my tours as well as running some new events incorporating creativity in the natural environment. I’ll also be looking at ways to engage and create links with other local businesses to help build a sustainable nature tourism offer around the Bay.

Our natural environment is the best thing we have going for us and with the potential for Eden North we really want to be engaging visitors and locals with the uniqueness of this place whilst helping to keep it special. I’ll be working closely with local businesses and organisations to look at how together we can create more great nature experiences.
